Functions

"We have made every effort to implement all the planned functions in one tool. And it actually worked!"

... predefined dimmable basic and mixed colors:

  • Red
  • Green
  • Blue
  • White
  • Yellow
  • Cyan
  • Magenta
  • Orange

... user profiles for user-defined color combinations:

  • P1
  • P2
  • P3
  • P4
The user-defined color profiles can be called up, edited and saved as often as you want.

... separable channels allow you many interesting and brilliant color combinations and effects using your TWORBALL.

The separated channels can be set with different colors, brightness levels and effects. Of course, you always have the option to reunite the two channels by remote control.

... possible color combinations. Thanks to the almost infinitely variable brightness control of the basic colors, you have more than 4,600,000 color and brightness combinations available. You can create any color and then permanently save it in a user profile.

Linear and flicker-free dimming of the LEDs. The color and brightness are controlled almost continuously without pulse width modulation (PWM). This results in no dashed lines on your photo, no matter which color and which brightness you use.

When changing colors, you have the choice between switching quickly or fading slowly to the next color.

The auto fader allows you to configure your own program with up to 8 steps. You can set the same or different colors on the two channels. The speed can be chosen in 16 steps between 0.06 - 60 seconds, alternatively you can also set the speed manually.

The auto fader can be combined with the PWM simulator.

With the PWM simulator (also called strobe or strobe effect) you can flash the LEDs on your TWORBALL and draw dashed lines in your photo. The PWM simulator is available for every color and brightness. You have the choice between 16 different flash frequencies from 0.3 Hz to 10 kHz.

The blackout function switches off the LEDs on your TWORBALL immediately. When you exit the blackout mode, the LEDs light up again in the previously set color and brightness.

The blackout function can be carried out on both or only a single channel.

The self-developed IPMS (Intelligent Power Management System) charges the integrated battery efficiently in order to ensure maximum performance over the long term. The IPMS also monitors the battery while it is in use and informs you of the current status so that you can recharge the battery in time.

You may be familiar with this problem: You connect a light painting tool to a USB power bank and shortly after the power bank switches off.

This cannot happen with your TWORBALL: Thanks to active USB power bank support, the TWORBALL detects a connected power bank and reliably prevents this unwanted shutdown during the charging process.

The TWORBALL is equipped with a USB interface for software updates. This gives you the option of having newer software loaded onto your TWORBALL.

An integrated piezo buzzer informs you about the current status of your TWORBALL and acknowledges commands received from the radio remote control.

The TWORBALL emits an acoustic "Low Battery" warning to give you the possibility charging your battery in time.

Each time you switch on the TWORBALL, it also performs an automatic battery check and visualizes the charge status of the internal battery.

In case you ever forget to turn off your TWORBALL, it will contact you after 30 minutes. The acoustic "Lost" warning reminds you to save the battery and to turn off the TWORBALL when not in use.

The mute function gives you the opportunity to use your TWORBALL silently. This makes sense in some environments or locations. The mute function can be activated and deactivated with a single press of a button. To make it easier for you operating in silent mode, many acknowledgments are visualized.
